Tier Advancement Rule

To unlock Level 1 of a class in the next tier, a cadet must first reach Level 2 in the required class from the previous tier.

Example: Infantry Lv. 2 unlocks Charger Lv. 1 or Vanguard Lv. 1. Each player level grants only one standard Class Level total across all standard classes. Chemist is a special learned class. It follows separate unlock rules and is not treated like a normal core starting class.

Upon enrollment, cadets are assigned to one of four standard branches. These branches define starting combat identity, equipment permissions, and baseline passive training. Chemist is listed separately because it is a special learned class.

Advanced Class Rules

Tier 3 class passives are learnable abilities costing 600 JP; they are not automatic grants. A Stance persists until movement or its listed trigger breaks it. Once per combat abilities re-arm when combat ends.

How To Read The Tree

Tier 1 core classes are starting tracks. Tier 2+ classes are advanced paths unlocked by investing in the prior class. Chemist is a special learned class and must be unlocked through training, licensing, mentorship, story discovery, or another GM-approved method.
